Charlie started out as a labourer on-site, where he gained invaluable experience and an in-depth understanding of the industry. By 2018, Charlie moved into the office, taking on a variety of roles to help manage both on-site operations and administrative tasks. In 2023, Charlie, alongside Joe and Les, took ownership of Coatstone Surfacing. As one of the new directors, he now manages the financial side of the business, ensuring smooth operations and continued growth. When he’s not working, Charlie enjoys spending time with his fiancée and daughter.
He’s an outdoors enthusiast, with a particular love for trail running, hiking, and ultramarathons. He’s also a big fan of movies and enjoys cooking—especially Italian food. Charlie’s work ethic, experience, and passion for both his career and personal interests make him a well-rounded and valued member of the team at Coatstone Surfacing.
