Our client required over 7800m2 of plane and resurface, they needed a hard-wearing surface course and for us to dispose of the arising waste. The new surface needed a full white lining detail installed, all whilst this huge site was active, and zero site closures were permitted.
Having been awarded the contract 3 weeks prior to the project start date, we had work to do. First, we identified the issues. The site is home to over 40 different haulier companies all with different daily delivery times, we had to make sure that access was always kept. We put together a plan of how we would execute the removal of the old surface, then installation of the new surface, this was literally down the m2.
Simultaneously we had to work in the White lining, which we designed with our client to form new roadways, parking bays and loading bays.
Thanks to our superb operatives and great relationship with our supply chain, we completed the works, whilst allowing the businesses to operate as normal.
