Highways, Wiltshire

A busy main road in Wiltshire was in need of a new surface. There were signs of underlying issues in the subbase, which might have needed to be addressed. Iron works and kerbs repairs were also required. Works had to be carried out at night over 3 shifts under a road closure.

Having been awarded the contract 3 weeks prior to the project start date, we had work to do. First, we identified the issues. The site is home to over 40 different haulier companies all with different daily delivery times, we had to make sure that access was always kept.
